A classic tale of starting from the ground up; I began working in the cabinet business in 1998 for a local company helping out with deliveries. As I became interested in learning the differences in the cabinet sizes and door styles/finishes, I also became very interested in learning how they transform from concepts to installations. For the next several years, I assisted with numerous installations and attended various design classes offered through cabinet manufacturers. Over the course of many years, I became proficient in both designing and cabinet installations. Designing kitchens and baths come naturally when you know exactly how they can be installed.

While continuing to design and install, I moved on to management and helped build a successful business. After building many great relationships with homeowners and builders of Manatee County, I decided it was time for me to launch my own business. My real strength and passion is my attention to detail. I pride myself on my reputation for following through and doing a great job. When not working, I enjoy various forms of exercise and love to do family activities with my beautiful wife and two daughters.

Nina Gheewala-Anderson has spent most of her career working as very sought after nail technician, massage therapist, and a medical esthetician. She then moved on to earn her nursing license as Progressive Cabinetry was just starting out. Instead of pursuing her new career in nursing, she focused on being a stay at home mom and raising our two daughters. Now that our daughters are both in school, we are very excited to have Nina working with us. She is a great asset to our team and brings a helpful nurturing side to our customer service.

Dave has almost 20 years in the cabinetry industry, starting his career with Lowe’s Home Improvement in Illinois. While working full-time as a cabinet specialist, Dave also worked toward a degree in biology. Once he graduated, Dave moved to Florida to pursue a career using his BS degree. However, Dave decided that kitchen and bath design was what he really loved doing.

After 10 years with Lowe’s, Dave embarked upon a new journey with a local cabinet dealer as a designer, which is where he met Cliff. Over the next 6 years, Dave honed his skills in all aspects of cabinetry from initial concepts to installation. Dave was then given an opportunity to spread his wings and began working with international clients in Bermuda, the Caribbean, and even South Korea for their cabinetry, appliances, plumbing, flooring, and countertop needs – really anything that was needed to build or remodel their homes. After 3 ½ years, Dave realized he missed working face-to-face with his clients in the showroom and in their homes as opposed to phone and internet-based communication. ​Dave is excited to be back working with Cliff and assisting him to continue building his business.

A Florida native, Alyssa has many years of customer service experience and has played many roles in our organization. Alyssa started at Progressive Cabinetry in 2016 as an administrative assistant and throughout the years she has learned the ins and out of cabinet design. Looking to utilize her talents and spend more one-on-one time with clients, Alyssa strives for success and takes pride in providing the best customer service from start to finish.

Shawna Miller brings over fifteen years of experience in the Kitchen & Bath industry to her position at Progressive Cabinetry. Originally from Michigan, she began working as a cabinetry designer while earning her B.A. in Interior Design from Michigan State University. After completing her degree, Shawna relocated to beautiful Bradenton and took the next step in her career as a designer at a tile and cabinetry showroom for many years. Ready to challenge herself and flourish as a designer, Shawna was thrilled to join the Progressive Cabinetry team in 2018. She has extensive experience with space planning, color theory, and principles of interior design for residential and commercial spaces. Shawna believes in establishing strong relationships with clients and providing exceptional personal service throughout the duration of the project. In her free time, Shawna enjoys traveling and taking in every moment with her husband and two children, Jackson and Myka.

After spending nearly, a decade in the dental profession, Caitlin decided to make a career change into a more exciting and creative environment. After first learning the administrative side of Progressive Cabinetry, she has ventured into design. Caitlin enjoys meeting new clients and working with them to bring their ideas to life. Caitlin and her husband have two little girls and a hobby farm with chickens and goats. With plenty to do on the farm, she enjoys spending family time together at home.

Sara is a native of Cali, Colombia, who holds a BA in Social Communication - Journalism and a Real Estate license in Florida. After more than 10 years working as a journalist in Colombia, she moved to the United States. Sara joined Progressive Cabinetry in 2023 as an Assistant Designer looking for a career change. She loves everything related to construction and design work. Helping customers bring their dream kitchen and bathroom ideas to life gives her great joy. In her spare time, you might find Sara writing, reading, enjoying the beach, dancing, or helping as a volunteer with the Clearwater Marine Aquarium.

An essential part of the Progressive Cabinetry team, Rex Kirby looks forward to helping you with your cabinet needs. Rex has been in the customer service field for 20 years. He is responsible for the coordination of our installations and all service-related tasks. With a keen eye for detail, he will be sure to follow your project from start to finish.

Born and raised in Bradenton, Brian Oberheu brings over a decade of experience working in and around kitchens as a chef/cook. During this time he gained an immense amount of knowledge on how a kitchen layout should function with the cook in mind. This experience allows him to offer an in-depth perspective of how your kitchens design will work best for you. ​Brian has spent the past three years working with clients throughout the design process and has now moved on to assisting our​ installers in the field. ​ Priding himself on customer service and satisfaction, Brian looks forward to helping you with all your cabinet needs.

Four years ago, Mandy moved from Texas to Bradenton, with several years of customer service experience under her belt. She previously worked in dispatch, so handling any situation with a positive attitude comes naturally. Mandy is responsible for entering orders, communicating with clients, and many more behind-the-scenes tasks. You will always see a smile on Mandy’s face, as she is happy to help with anything she can in the most efficient way.

Looking to pursue her career in Interior Design, Gracie made the move from Michigan to Florida. After 3 years of working as a design consultant in the furniture industry, she decided to make a career change and join the Progressive Cabinetry team as the Office Administrator. She will be assisting with items such as invoicing, billing, material orders, and scheduling. When not at work, Gracie likes to spend time with her kittens, Peanut and Butter.
